It is today, a day of mourning, a day to remember our people killed just for being jews. A day to remember the sacrifice of Europe to fight against the Evil. More than 30 million individuals each of them with a name a history a past a present and no future, beside in our aging memory.
The silence of today, is broken by the deep voices of sirens sounding throughout Israel. It gets to your stomach, to the lungs, to the brain and it reminds you of that name, that face, those eyes filled with shock and terror, seen in pictures in museums, children you try to give a name to; your family.
Your thoughts are disturbed only by the idiocy of those who for their political interests pursue a policy of hatred and denial of what happened, so that they can continue to perpetrate their crime against their population, against the freedom of religion, against sexual freedom, against freedom of conscience, against peace, against the moderates and the stability of the region.
Never again.
Never again.
